Alexandra Kaplan

Former NYU Admissions Counselor turned Corporate Recruiter. I am a graduate of Muhlenberg College where I earned a degree in Spanish as well as Teachers College, Columbia University where I finished my Masters’s in Higher and Postsecondary Education. I am currently making my way through my first novel and hope to finish by mid-2020.

Describe the Impact of a Project you’re focused on.

After 6 wonderful years working in Undergraduate Admissions at NYU, I made the move to corporate recruiting. I work for a boutique, woman-owned recruiting agency called Clarity and aside from helping people find work, I am also charged with bringing in new clients with open roles to fill. The more companies we have working with us, the more we can help job-seekers find employment.

What results do you hope for when the impact is amplified?

I am hoping to reach a larger audience of job-seekers and companies who need assistance with hiring, The more business I can build, the better I’ll be able to assist people in landing great roles with great companies. Clarity is a boutique agency which means we have a uniquely personal approach to recruiting. We take significant time to get to know our candidates and our clients so that we can better serve both and make the best matches possible. We work across a variety of fields (HR, Creative, Legal, Tech, Finance and Admin) and although we currently have a robust portfolio of clients, we are always aiming to expand our reach.

What do you have to offer as a connector? What can you give as expertise to others?

My company has connections with some awesome clients and I am more than happy to help support anyone seeking a new job or a career change. Similarly, I would love to help companies save time and energy on recruiting.
