Describe the Impact of a Project you’re focused on.

I am currently working on The SUPR (Single Use Plastics Reduction) Initiative to eliminate plastics in professional sports stadiums. NEXUS has partnered with Accenture and Oceanic Global to provide stadiums comprehensive cost neutral strategies to help accelerate stadium sustainability initiatives and help teams reduce plastic throughout their supply chains.

What results do you hope for when the impact is amplified?

Already our work has led to a stadium committing to reducing their plastic consumption by 2.5 million units starting in 2020. Another 5 stadiums have committed to taking our pledge and working with us to reduce plastics. We hope we can eliminate millions of cups, utensils, and other single-use plastics in the coming year.

What do you have to offer as a connector? What can you give as expertise to others?

Happy to chat plastics and sustainability and to make any relevant intros to teams we are already working with! Also always happy to chat about NEXUS in general!
