Marcia Nelson

Marcia Nelson is Managing Director of Alberleen Family Office Solutions and is responsible for client marketing and development of Alberleen’s network of family offices and private investors. Ms. Nelson has a 20 year track record of working with family offices and their advisors, collaborating with other families and creating thought leadership around impact investing and philanthropic giving. She started her career working for an ultra-high-net-worth philanthropic family, and subsequently managed business development and relationship management in the areas of estate planning, finance and accounting at firms including FMV Opinions, Marcum, and Anchin, Block & Anchin. Ms. Nelson serves as the Executive VP of The Association for Corporate Growth-NY and is a member of the Family Office Committee. She also serves on the Board of and on the advisory board of a Utah-based SFO She earned her BA from Southern Utah State College and her MBA from Fordham University.

Describe the Impact of a Project you’re focused on.

I am on the board of, a non-profit organization that is celebrating its 33rd year of helping entrepreneurs Change the World. i love participating especially in the annual women's summit and supporting entrepreneurs. The mission of is to improve the human condition through technological entrepreneurship and to help entrepreneurs Start. Find Money. Change the World. I've also enjoyed connecting with other professionals and learning from their experiences and leveraging their knowledge and sharing it with other entrepreneurs.

What results do you hope for when the impact is amplified?

i am excited to help more women and minorities get access to capital. Our whole society will benefit from including under-represented entrepreneurs and helping them start and grow businesses. We'll have better healthcare, education, services, jobs as inclusion grows.

What do you have to offer as a connector? What can you give as expertise to others?

I grew up in Utah and bridge the mid/southwestern and east coast mentalities. i also have strong connections in UT and the southwest and can share knowledge and contacts that East-coasters may not have access to. Don't forget the 'fly over" states!
