Marian Taylor Brown
Marian Taylor Brown identifies as an artist, educator, scholar and innovator. Her career focuses on the intersection of art, social justice and equity. She founded Arts Connect International in 2014, a Boston based non-profit committed to issues of equity in the sector. Concurrently, she is a PhD Candidate at the School for Global Inclusion & Social Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston, conferral expected in January 2020, and maintains an active EDIA consultancy practice. Prior to founding ACI, Marian was a Global Health Corps fellow, working with ArtGlo in Zomba, Malawi, and was the Associate Director of ARTZ: Artist’s for Alzheimer’s, having previously earned her EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
