Michael Fitzpatrick

“Virtuosity and an ear for musical dialogue” is the New York Times’ description of globally renowned virtuoso cellist Michael Fitzpatrick, seconded by NPR’s declaration of being “An Interpreter of the Muse” and the HuffPost’s proclamation: “Possessed of a chill-axed surfer dude vibe, what Fitzpatrick does with a Cello cannot be adequately described a mere music: I can best describe the sounds he pours out of that instrument as simple beauty that fills one’s soul with nothing less than pure joy and peace. Plus, he just flat-out rocks!” Fitzpatrick’s musical gift has synergized with iconic figures of the past thirty years, foremost His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama, with whom he has provided the Musical Keynotes to set the tone for His Holiness’ Public Talks and Teachings around the world for the past two decades. His lifelong commitment is to propagating music’s unrivaled power to move the body, heart and soul.

Describe the Impact of a Project you’re focused on.

TUNING THE PLANET: global touring to sacred sites around the world, modeled on Millenia Music's original COMPASSION recording and filming inside of Mammoth Cave (the largest cave-system in the world), designed to source emergent sonics from the energy field of the sacred sites in conjunction with collaboration with medicine-musicians indigenous to the area, for the benefit of planetary and personal interconnectedness, uplfitment, and healing.

What results do you hope for when the impact is amplified?

Global interconnectivity via a new soundtrack composed of high-vibes of love, compassion and peace, akin to "when the music and peace and love was in the air in the 60s."

What do you have to offer as a connector? What can you give as expertise to others?

Global Rolodex. Catalytic music-experiences carrying the power and impact commensurate with the magnitude of the times.
